Laurel Oaks allows students to discover themselves as scholars, artists, and athletes. The high school placement process guides each scholar and parent through the important decisions and details in applying to high schools.  The process begins in sixth grade when students and parents attend our high school informational evening about the process featuring high school counselors and admission officers.  In eighth grade, students enroll in the High School Survey Course, which prepares them and introduces them to local public magnet high school, local private high schools, and boarding private school options through on-campus visits by school representatives.

Individual parent conferences with Laurel Oaks High School Counselor and Head of School will help identify the best fit and opportunities between each Laurel Oaks’ scholar and their prospective high school.
